I've owned an Airzooka now for four years and it hasn't lost an ounce of fun. Yes, it's loud, and yes, it takes some strength to pull it back and a little bit of practice to aim, but the expression on someone's face when they experience it for the first time is priceless. It'll confuse the heck out of dogs, cats, and most adults the first time they get hit or feel a ball of air whiz by their head. It's the perfect thing for a college dorm or if you have kids visiting that you want to distract for a few hours. I wouldn't call it playing with fire, but blowing out candles or lighters from across the room is always fun. I've gotten ranges up to fifty feet with varying degrees of accuracy. I purchased the Megazooka when it came out a year ago, but the original Airzooka is still a better toy.

This is a fun little toy to play around with. I bought one to mess around with co-workers at the office when a Nerf Gun war was started. Obviously my gun has a shorter range than a Nerf Gun but my Airzooka is not going to run out of ammo and while a blast of air to the face may be annoying, there's no risk of someone losing an eye. The air blast that an airzooka produces is quite impressive and I always find that I'm underestimating the distance that it can reach.

My only complaint about this item is how obnoxiously loud it is. I expected it to make noise... but the boom that is created by pulling back on that bungee cord is loud enough to heard from across the room. This is definitely NOT a stealth weapon.

Great toy but not for the little kids. It takes a lot of strength to pull the trigger on the airzooka. Takes a while to figure out how to aim the thing but once you are over the learning curve you are messing up coiffures all over the place. Good times.

As long as you have the strength to pull the elastic cording back.
I bought for my son 5 years ago, just about strong enough. Sat on the floor and used his feet to help hold the gun! He was 5.
Recently bought for a 19 yr old, he LOVES it!
What a great fun way to startle someone and not break anything :)

I bought this in 2007 and it is still works! I was concerned that the flexible plastic part that you pull back would harden and crack, but that didn't happen. I take good care of it and use it rarely, but it still works! This really attracts attention with people who never saw one before, adults and children.

I ordered 2 of these for my sons birthday. He had played with them before and they can be a lot of fun. One of them broke the very first day it was used and there is no way to repair it because the plastic broke. They also sent the wrong color, not that it mattered because he never got an opportunity to use it. I think this could be really fun for boys if it's working.

My son and I had a hard time getting the rings to lock on both sides. Eventually we did it by ignoring the instructions and winging it. After a half hour of usage the edge ring (1cm thick) that holds the diaphragm in place came off and we couldn't get it to snap back in place even with tools. We have to keep re-taping it now. The tolerances of dimensions for plastic tabs and snap-through's seem too narrow. It could use some serious re-engineering. When it stays together, my son finds it fun.

Items were shipped very well. The Airzooka is an awesome toy that is really fun for little kids (they freak out) all the way up to old people (they freak out too). Little babies tend to cry ;-(

This thing is really nifty. I took it to work and annoyed people with it all day. I have hit people from at least 30 feet away with its amazing air-ball. My son uses it to make his sisters crazy until we make him quit shooting them with it. The dog hates it. The "sights" are decently accurate also if you use them correctly. It makes a loud pop when you shoot it, so it isn't something you can be sneaky with. It has been pretty durable as we have had ours more than two years.

Anyway, it is really nifty how this thing can shoot a ball of air across a room. If you don't have one, you need one.
