I am post-menopausal and have lots of acne scars that have suddenly decided to show up. This product covers all my imperfections and gives me an air-brushed look. It is so light that you don't know it's even there. I love it! Had tried Bare Escentuals/Minerals and was very disappointed with the poor coverage. The specialists at Sephora recommended it...and it changed everything!!!

This product offers the coverage of a thick foundation with the lightness of a powder plus SPF. This stuff is great! I've used other similar products (bare escentuals, Jane Iredale, mineral wear, etc.) but this one is the best. I am 40+, have super pale skin with areas of redness that are hard to conceal and this covers so well, so flawlessly and doesn't create that aging, thick, caked-on look. (If you have dry skin, however, you'd probably want Laura Mercier's cream foundation instead). For combination skin, or for oily skin, this stuff is great. I've stocked up just in case they change the formula!

Color: Real Sand
This is one of the only foundations that is fair enough for my extremely fair skin. I have used both Tender Rose and Real Sand.

I didn't really appreciate this foundation fully until two weeks ago, when I started using a medication that made my skin flare up (especially my cheeks and neck). Ever since, this has been my go-to product. This foundation evens out redness really nicely. By redness, I mean all over my face; so much that if I were using concealer, I would go through a jar a week. I tried using liquid foundation and concealer first, but I could still see all the places that I was red and inflamed. The liquid foundation looked cakey, obvious, and just plain bad. Then I tried this foundation. There really is something magic about the way it evens out redness, something which none of my other powder foundations (including Mac and Nars) were able to do.

This is the best powder foundation that I have ever used. It smells pleasantly like coconut, not the typical clay/powdery smell most powders (especially mineral powders) have. It provides excellent coverage, and on a good day, evens out my skin tone to near flawlessness. Application is very forgiving. I don't think I could mess my makeup up with this even if I tried. I'd recommend using a good moisturizer underneath this, so it can set properly and won't make your skin look flakey. I use a very dense kabuki brush (by mac) to buff it in. It's very easy to blend and move around, and once it sets on your skin (about 5-30 minutes, depending on how moist your skin is), it's not going anywhere. I think that is the best thing about this powder. It's really nice to know that my face can touch things without makeup coming off of it. I do my makeup before putting on my work clothes now.

I am a mature women with mostly dry skin except for my nose which is more oily. I live in desert climate, which has it's own challenges. I have very pale skin with my share of lines/wrinles, etc. First off I've tried so many foundations and have never found any liquid/cream foundations to work from all price ranges. I've never liked a heavy makeup look and after trying some more foundations that didn't work, I was told by more than one sales clerk that carries both Laura Mercier and Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals; foundation brands along w/many other kinds; that this gives a nicer finish than Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals. I prefer the "pressed" mineral powder. First of all in my opinion, a good primer is needed for all makeup. When I was in one of the well known stores that sell skincare, makeup etc., the Laura Mercier rep was in that day and told me to use their "puff", for a lack of a better word, to press the makeup onto your skin to get the most natural coverage which I have found to be true. It doesn't take alot and you can always go back and add more if you want. Alot of foundations seem to emphasize one's flaws or wrinkles more than it covers them. I really like how it covers what you want and gives such a nice smooth & natural look. Then I set it with "Makeup Forever Mist & Fix" which I've found to be the best. It's a light spray, not heavy and also alcohol free. It really sets the foundation nice and makes all my makeup last, especially during the hot summer months. This is the only makeup I have found that doesn't break out my skin or clog my pores, as long as you don't sleep in your makeup that is. I hope this helps.

I love this powder. It goes on very smoothly and evenly and has fabulous coverage. My granddaughter uses this to help cover her rosacea and it does great. So, I figured it might help hide some of my age spots. I'll never use foundation again.

Have used this powder before. Covers and evens out my face without looking like I'm wearing much of anything. Also, use a brush at times to apply.

The Laura Mercier mineral pressed powder spf 15 natural beige is a good color and the product itself seems to be well blended. However, it was more expensive than all the other mineral powders on the market. It still builds up in facial creases as do the other mineral powders, which was what I was looking to avoid. It was a good try and I'll use it up, but I won't purchase any more. The shipping arrival was right on time.
