This coating melts wonderfully in the microwave and forms a perfectly smooth coating over whatever you choose to dip in it. I have lost our local Merckens supplier and was uncertain about ordering online (would it be fresh?) - it was great. Our traditional holiday treats got rave reviews.

These are the best candy coatings out there. Most places only carry Wilton's which seems like such a monopoly and they are useless. Merckens are so much smoother and easier to work with. I wish they were widely available so I wouldn't have to order online.

I got these for a candied cake-ball recipe and they worked great! The texture is smooth, they aren't too heavy to destroy the cake-ball, and they tasted delicious.

Delicious!

Pretty
Great for cake pops or dipping pretzel sticks. Also, you can dust sprinkles over the coating while it's wet to give the cake pops or pretzel sticks a festive look.
