This bar tastes pretty good and is a normal sized "candy bar". I mean, we are NOT talking high-sugar high-fat here. If you want the other stuff, eat Almond Joy or Reese Peanut Butter Cups and suck up the fat.

This is a chocolate covered bar, with a chocolatty-coconut inside. I eat little to no sugar and I found this just right in sweetness taste. It is USDA Organic with 4g protein and made with chia seeds. It says no trans fat. One bar is 210 calories, with 12g fat and 25g carbs---12g sugars. Contains almond butter and coconut (in case you are allergic). Has organic dark chocolate and organic raw cocoa powder, if you are looking to get some chocolate for health reasons. I would eat this as a snack to take away the hungries--with a drink. I grabbed one the other day while shopping. I was between meals and not ready to stop for food yet. I had the bar with a bottle of water and it did the trick.

The chia seeds add a slight crunchiness, but they are tiny.

I keep thinking about that "Chia Pet" commercial. I wonder if I now have a chia pet growing inside? :-)

My gluten/dairy/egg/soy free son is going to LOVE these and I'm not going to feel guilty for feeding them to him on occasion. I agree they are sweet- and would prefer to see the sugars under 12- HOWEVER- they are delish and taste a lot like Almond Joy candy bars only without all the garbage!

I will be ordering more of these very soon!

This bar is tasty but too sweet for me. Pretty pricy at $3 a bar and the wrapper is noticeably much bigger than the bar. Each bar is just 1.59 oz, much less than most other similar bars. I complained to Dr. Mercola's outfit about the deceptive packaging and I got a response that if I did not like it I could send it back to get my money back. Each bar has 12g of sugar, 4g of protein and 25g of carbohydrates.

We loved the "original" cocoa casava bar. They have been changed twice since then. In my opinion, the bars have gotten worse with each formula change. Go back to the original formula Dr. Mercola. Also, this latest version is too sweet!

I've tried many bars and this is by far and away the best! I'm not normally a fan of coconut, but I love these. They are not to sweet and the chocolate flavor is excellent, deep and strong without being bitter. I hope he doesn't change this as I am now a fan.

The family loves this product. My kids don't like coconut, but will eat this. I buy them as an occasional treat.

When you think of a "healthy" snack, you might think of carboard-tasting granola bars or something pretty dull. This is full of flavor, and has a chewey, soft, coconut base with a ton of cocao taste! I'm not a chocolate lover, so I didn't want something too chocolate-heavy. Since this contains pure cocao, it's richer and leaves you with a yummy aftertaste. I would not say I feel any more energy after I eat it, but I do feel less guilty than any other quick, boring, sugary snack. I will continue to order these to help me enjoy my "sweet" cravings without all the guilt!

These bars - like all of Dr Mercola's products- look amazing. There is no way I can afford them for my family though at twice the price of Kashi bars and Cliff Jr. I know Dr Mercola sources quality ingredients.

I have ordered a box after receiving some of these energy bars as a gift. They are delicious, not too sweet, have fiber, protein and organic ingredients. This is a product I recommend.
