Not only can Darwin sing rings around a lot of the singers out today (gospel and otherwise), the choice of material on "Mercy" is top notch. Production on most cuts is by none other than Minister Fred Hammond, so that alone lets you know you're in for a treat.

There is one cut that's my personal favorite, produced by Chris Rodriguez: the song "Wonderland," a beautiful, semi-jazzy cut with Angie Winans that's lets us know what to expect when we get to heaven. Truly awesome. It, like the rest of the album, gets better with each listen.

If you like solid R&B flavored gospel, Mr. Hobbs' "Mercy" belongs in your collection.

This CD is awesome from the word "go." Darwin is truly blessed vocally and we are all benefitting. He is God's answer to "Luther" no doubt. I am Collecting everything with his voice on it. I have performed one of his songs and preparing to do another in our church. Much affection to the songwriter's too. The lyrics minister deeply to the hearer. Thank God for His gifts and Darwin is one of them. Buy the music.

This cd is very nice, I myself like it very much Darwin Hobbs is a very nice singer I think that people should go and get it because it expresses things that are true and have reasons and it gives advice for people to follow so they can have a better life.

This gentlemen has been blessed with a anointed quality of a little Luther Vandross, Alvin Slaughter and himself that brought out one dyamite voice. The writers wrote songs for him. I glad I purchased this and blessed to know Darwin all this talent is an Ohioan, God will bless you and have, keep singing.

I had never heard of this guy, but when I received this CD, I was impressed! I advise anybody to get it!

There is not one song on this album that I do not like. His range and vocal stylings are great. The songs are inspirational and hip at the same time. This young man has a bright future. I recommend anyone who really loves good music and excellent singing buy this CD.

I'm 16 and am seeking to start my gospel music ministry. This CD has not only inspired me, but it was an encouragement. Darwin, You're in my prayers. Keep singing for the glory of God!!!!!
