Beautiful music from an underrated singer/songwriter,

I've been a fan of Lisa's music for some time. If you like Innocence Mission, you can't go wrong with this CD. There's also another one called Close Your Eyes that has a special power to it as well.

In the same vein as Innocence Mission and The Sundays. Lisa Cerbone's voice will haunt you and her lyrics will do the same.

Lisa Cerbone is a wonderful up and coming artist from Baltimore, MD. She mixes a bit of alternative with folk and adds a lot of her soul. Her music is beautiful, her songs staying with you all day. Be sure to check out her first CD, Close Your Eyes.

I read about Lisa somewhere, and decided to order this album. I have to say, the more I play it, the more I like it. Her lyrics are well crafted, and the melodies and instruments fit the mood of those lyrics so well, like Joni Mitchell's music and lyrics do as well. Lisa's voice reminds me of Lori Carson, Leah Andreone and even Susan Voelz. Musically, she also reminds me of Lori, and even Happy Rhodes at points! Great purchase!

A few years ago I read about Lisa somewhere, and decided to order this album. I have to say, it's a quite OK album. Her lyrics are well crafted, and the melodies and instruments fit the mood of those lyrics so well, like Joni Mitchell's music and lyrics do as well. Lisa's voice reminds me of Lori Carson, Leah Andreone and even Susan Voelz. Musically, she also reminds me of Lori, and even Happy Rhodes at points! Great purchase!
