Merging With Siva is an excellent book that is understandable for both the spiritual adept and novice. Reading this book, I could tell the author has a deep compassion for others as well as tremendous wisdom and learning. I highly recommend this and Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami's other books.

A rare classics, the best presentation of raja yoga describe with a divine language and yet easily assimilable to the one on the Path. I just love this book , a jewel for those to whom it is intended . Read it as a piece of litterature or as a big big help in the understanding of the destiny of the Soul this book is just great if not the greatest spiritual book for the end of this millenium. Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami has once more time really succeeded in sharing to the world his love. Thank you Guru , I love you very much too .

This book is comprimised of sections to allow one to read a passage every day for a year, or at their own pace if they'd like. I read each passage a day for a year, and it helped me tremendously! Finding yourself, growing spiritualy, and apreading your wings to fly. Merging With Siva, does just what the title says, helps you merge with the almighty. Become at peace with yourself. Nice pictures, poeticly written. Not just for Hindus.

A great book for reading just before going to bed at night. You can open any page and read this book and it will give you the answer you need. Invest in this book and keep it for life. It's amazing that priceless knowledge that takes a lifetime to achieve and previously available only to a select few is now available to everybody.

This is a great book. Satguru shares his wisdom. The tough part is to read it without feeling chastised for not being a monk. If you glide over that aspect, there is a wealth of great knowledge to be gained here, including specific meditation techniques. If you are attracted to Satguru and his Temple here on Kauai, "Into the I of All" by a longtime monk of Satguru, is an engaging, authentic guide. If this world famous Satguru attracts you, please seek further.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, in the mid 80's when I was living in my cabin up in the Sierra's. I met him in his San Francisco Ashram at the time, in the Temple to Lord Murugan. A tall, very distinguished looking gentleman. I discussed some issues about my life with him and later had the honor of dining with him and other swamis and yogis of the order. I can say without doubt, that this meeting changed my life forever. His writings come from a wellspring of true enlightenment and knowledge of the absolute. You cannot but gain from reading any of Gurudeva's works. Read, enjoy, and find Shiva within! The Universe is far more than the material world you have been aware of. Your Soul really is on a journey, and there are many Heavens beyond this Earth.
