5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT FOR THE PRICE!
Came fully assembled, and works fine for my Mother's in-home rehab, but, doesn't seem very heavy duty (CHINA). GREAT DEAL FOR THE PRICE!

3.0 out of 5 stars Bike Pedal
This is a great asset to those who need "Low impact" exercise. It can be used with the feet as well as the hands...It's light weight and has rubber grippers so you can place it on a table to help strengthen your arms.
I had rotator cuff surgery in May and the Bike Pedal has helped me considerably.

After my 80 year old mom's knee replacement, the surgeon suggested we get a stationary pedal bike. I found this on Amazon and it was the best price I could find. It arrived on time, with free shipping and is a great product as promised. Thank you!

4.0 out of 5 stars looks good--missing part, April 17, 2008
This Drive pedal exerciser looks good, but BP Medical Products sent me the
two I ordered WITHOUT the tension adjustment knobs. THEY are NOT a reliable company to deal with. I've still not received the knobs, and there were no accompanying product manual booklets enclosed!!Stationary Bike Pedal Exerciser - Fully Assembled

5.0 out of 5 stars Made in China, December 18, 2007
Great price! Fast delivery!Pedal exerciser came fully assembled.-BUT after I used it for about 15 minutes, the pedal arms got very hot to touch.I don't think the main bearing will last very long.I will let you know if quickly wears out.I would like to know if others have the same heat problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars false advertising, June 6, 2011

The product was fine. Only it was a piece of gym equipment and advertised as fully assembled. It came unassembled! I am partially crippled and a senior citizen that lives alone.I have found that many of the items advertised on Amazon are falsely advertised and Amazon ignores complaints!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice little stationary bike, August 1, 2011

Nice sturdy little stationary bike. I have lost over 100 pounds and am always looking for ways to move more. So I bought it thinking I could put it under my desk at work and pedal while I was working, however my knees hit the desk so that didn't work. Otherwise I am very pleased with it. I was only going to use it as a supplement to my normal workouts....I would never use it as a main workout as its not "enough" exercise for me. But if this was all you could do its better then nothing. Check out Burn Your Fat Pants dot com

This product is not "fully" assembled, but it is very simple to put together. I left the washers off so the knob would screw in tighter and more secure. A good product for simple upper and lower extremity exercise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stationary Bike Pedal Exerciser - Fully Assembled, March 28, 2011

I am so very pleased with Drive Medical's service. The Stationary Bike Pedal Exerciser was accidentally shipped without the Tension Knob to my father who lives in another State. My father did not know what the tension knob was, until I explained to him how the Stationary Bike Pedal Exerciser works with the Tension Knob.

I contacted Drive Medical via email and explained to them about the Tension Knob, and enclosed my fathers address. They sent the Tension Knob right out to my father. He is so pleased.

He says the Stationary Bike Pedal Exerciser works wonderful now, with the Tension Knob in place.

All this makes me excited to do future business with Drive Medical.

Drive Medical, thank you so much. Bless You all.

Mrs. TH Smith

1.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for, November 16, 2010
This review is from: Pedal Exerciser (Assembled) (Health and Beauty)
I wanted something to pedal while watching tv or reading. The only way to create tension is to tighten the knob against the moving, metal pedal bar. This creates a LOT, let me repeat - a LOT of heat, very quickly. Beware! Even when I loosened the knob to the point of being able to remove the knob entirely (ie: zero tension), it still generated much more heat than I thought it would.

Another frustration is that you can't tighten the straps on the feet so the the only way to get the petal to stay put, is to have shoes on. I wanted to use this with just socks on.

Additionally, because there's very little weight to the unit itself, when you raise one foot on a revolution, it tends to pick up the exerciser and move it around. When that happens, it starts to shift away from you or to the side, instead of staying put right in front of you, where you want it.

When it shifts around, the little black 'feet' rotate around the metal bar so it's no longer sitting on the flat part of the foot. This puts it off balance and the whole shifting and flopping around thing becomes too much to deal with.

So what would you do next, without giving it a thought?... reach down to reposition it back in front of you. But when you do that, you'd better remember how HOT the metal has gotten... because OUCH!!! (Trust me, you don't want kids in the room to hear the things that will come out of your mouth if you've forgotten!) LOL

Suffice it to say, this thing has sat in the corner of the living room after only a few uses... Sad, because its a great concept. Just spend more money on a better unit that doesnt have these issues. There's no sense in saving money to buy something you will never use! My two cents... Happy shopping! :)
