Practical & lightweight, this is the best iPad stand I've found. The angle it stands at is variable. Also folds for easy transport.

This ia a solid stable ipad stand. No plastic. it is a solid metal structure. Rubber feet for the table surface. When the ipad sits in the stand, it makes contact only with rubber and doesnt touch any of the metal structure. It has pretty good balance and can withstand some table shaking without tipping over. The ipad can be placed in it any way you want it and it still only makes contact with the rubber while sitting in the stand. You can very easily remove and place the ipad in and out of the stand. The slot the ipad rests in is big enough for a first generation ipad. First generation ipad fits in it perfectly. Usually things made of plastic are made to be disposable and be replaced. This stand is metal and rubber and looks like it can last forever.
