Merle is a one piece clamp that has almost no capacity limitation (from as small as 2-5/8 in. x 2-5/8 in. to 69 in. x 69 in. or 22 feet around, but can be extended to any length by using standard 3/8 in. steel banding or strapping. Excellent for narrow picture frames, holding work for gluing, nailing and screwing. Cast aluminum and steel construction-a true industrial quality tool.

This clamp works very well for the price. I've made a number of frames and the strap pulls the corners in nice and tight. The corner pieces are a bit small for larger frames so you will have to ensure that at least one corner of your frame is perfectly square. I recommend this clamp to anyone looking at building small to medium sized frames and rectangular shaped objects.
