Erotic Blasphemy, Oh my!,
This review is from: Merlin (Paperback)
An erotic, bizarre, and somewhat blasphemous tale about the great court wizard, Merlin. Being half-man and half-devil, Merlin is pulled one way by his "devil-of-a-father" and another way by his own conscious soul. Definitely not for the 17 and under crowd--- however, don't fault that 15-year-old bookworm who is just perusing through the library shelves looking for Camelot books; this book might just break him/her out of their shell.

This review is from: Merlin: Darkling Child of Virgin and Devil (Paperback)
A friend of mine introduced me to this novel, after she stumbled upon it at the library out of curiosity. And it was a most interesting read indeed! It's a most interesting and humorus take on the life and times of the legendary wizard Merlin. It's a very unusual story, and it's definately worth the read.

A Quirky and Kinky Merlin,
By A Customer
This review is from: Merlin (Hardcover)
This is an outstanding retelling of the legend of Merlin, but it is not for everyone. It is quirky, kinky, and in places may offend people of faith. Stylistically, it is very imaginative; chapters vary wildly in length, and it may contribute to your store of stock phrases.

This review is from: Merlin (Hardcover)
I ENJOYED THIS BOOK A GREAT DEAL. IT WAS QUITE DIFFERENT FROMMARY STEWART'S FOUR BOOKS AND OF COURSE FROM SIR THOMAS MALLORY'S LE MORTE D' ARTHUR. THE DIFFERENT POLITICAL VIEWS ARE INTERESTING AND THE WAY MERLIN EDUCATED ARTHUR. I MUCH PREFERRED MARY STEWART'S BOOKS OF ALL OF THEM BUT THIS IS AN INTERESTING ONE TO HAVE IF YOU ARE INTO KING ARTHUR AND MERLIN. |
