This is a very cute costume and is a great version of a mermaid costume for cold weather since it has sleeves and the stomach is covered. It does run big so you should go with the next size down. My daughter normally wears a size 5 and the small (4-6) was a little big on her. I was able to pin it easily though and she looked precious.

I read many reviews before ordering this costume for my 5 year old,and ordered smaller due to many people stating it fit large. It did fit, but was right on the verge of being too short, definitely check measurements first. I didn't! All in all, it is a very cute costume and seems to be very nicely made. She loves it,that's all that matters!
