Beautiful book, well priced for mermaid fans and readers. recommend. fair price compared to other stores and sites.

This is the perfect gift for any little girl who is in love with mermaids. The book has beautiful illustrations, lots of trivia and stories about mermaids. I am glad I purchased this book for my seven year old since she has read it many times and never grows tired of it.

this book is great, we also have ordered or own drangonolgy, fairys, and the princesology we have enjoyed them all. they make great gifts. each of the pages have neat details, and things to find for the kids.

My daughter has a very vivid imagination and adores the beautiful illustrations and magical stories in this book. She is six and still learning to read, so the stories must be read to her - but she loves the stories so much, that it is easy to get her to go to bed because she knows that she gets another story. I can only imagine the mermaid dreams she has after listening to these stories mixed with mythology and mermaid queens. There is even two full pages of mythical creatures that had my 16 year old son sitting on the edge of his little sister's bed listening to the descriptions and details about these very strange and ancient creatures of the sea. I know this book will lead my daughter to a long life love of mythology. Hook, line and sinker. Buy this book, it is a gem!

The reading level of this book is higher than I thought but that will sort itself out soon enough. The artwork is stunning and each page has goodies in it. It's a gift and I expect it to be her favorite for years to come. It actually does seem like a book of treasures for a girl in the princess/mermaid phase, like my granddaughter. Very good value, too, as it was not expensive.

An enjoyable read, with some interactive elements. Informative and fun, lots of attention-grabbing details. I love mermaids, and have a young child, and this book is perfect for us.

beautiful and fun! I got this to add to my baby's library, and it is a gorgeous book to have on the shelf for her to discover when she is older. for what you get the price is amazing!
