These shoes are good for walking in snow and are well made. I bought them because my toes are ALWAYS cold and I wanted a boot I could go hiking in and walk in the snow. They keep my feet warm enough in cold weather, but they are not the warmest boots I have owned.
The "Arc 6" is different than I had imagined. At first it feels strange to walk on them, like I am rocking forward. But after a day, I didn't notice it anymore. What I read in the insert when I got them is that the arc is designed for better hip placement...So far so good.

They fit true to size for me (I am always a size 8) My sister, who is a size 7.5 said that they were tight in the middle of the foot when she tried my shoes on. For me they are fine - perfect in the middle, but wide at the toe and a little wide at the heel; However, this allows me to wear thick socks.

They are great in snow - waterproof and seem to clean easily so far. But, the traction is not that good on ice (there are a lot of ice patched where I live and I've slipped a couple of times). I've had other boots that grip better on ice.

Overall, they are comfortable and warm. And they have a cute design from the side, but from the top, they are a little boxy.
The only things that keep me from giving this shoe a 5 star rating is the grip on ice, not as warm as I had hoped (although pretty good), and the design is a little boxy. Other than that, a very good and well made shoe - great for snowy weather!

I bought those shoes for a snowshoeing - hiking in the relatively deep snow fur 4-5 hours and for temperatures around 15-25.
They are very warm, comfortable and waterproof. I am very pleased with this product. Still looks good after a season of using it in the snow.

These keep my feet warm in ice and snow - and that is saying a great deal. Very comfortable for long periods of hiking and standing. Not the cutest, but hey, the rest of its features make up for it.

i am a first time merrell buyer and am so pleased with my purchase. i wear size 9 and i have mild bunions on each foot. their sizing seems quite accurate. in fact, these boots are so comfortable and roomy enough that i'd rather not take them off once i get home from work. it took a day or two to get used to the rocking action that the q-form comfort midsole caused. after analyzing the feeling, i believe it actually takes away the work of walking which allows me to concentrate on things other than how tired my legs and feet feel after a long day.

We have had plenty of snow and cold weather this year in Missouri. I walk our two large dogs almost daily. These shoes are the best I've ever had. They keep my feet dry and warm and they are super comfortable.

I purchased these for my trip to Alaska. They were comfortable easy to walk in. They helped make my vacation everything I'd hoped for. I wish I lived in a colder climate so I would have more opportunities to wear them.

She was walking to and from work and Colorado had a typical early snow. Buying shoes on line can be dicey but these were a perfect fit, comfortable and weather worthy.

I had to return the 8 and get an 8 1/2, but otherwise I love it. It's perfect for hiking or walking in snow. I use them with my snowshoes and they're great. The color is perfect - I love brown and the little snowflake on the side is just cool! :)

I have been eyeing these shoes for at least a year or two. The colors are just magical and remind me of a Huskie's fur. I finally broke down and ordered them. They look beautiful on but they are extremely stiff, non-cushie and heavy or "klunky" almost like ski boots. I wear them when I can to try and break them in and I have hopes someday that they will feel as warm and snuggly as they look. If that happens, I'll let you know, I'll write a new review. If it doesn't happen, I'll just set them on my fireplace hearth to look at because they truly are a visual work of art. Thanks for listening!
