I have trouble ordering shoes on-line so I tried these on in the store in a different color and then ordered the color I wanted from Amazon.

These are very comfortable and easy slip ons.

These are not meant to wear without socks however. The way the heel hits with the leather or rubber just at the base of your heel gave me blisters when I didn't wear socks. The low cut also meant that dirt and gravel could find its way into the shoe. Additionally the insert would come out if I didn't wear socks.

Overall it's a very comfortable, lightweight shoe. It just is meant more for walking on sidewalks rather than gravel paths or the beach.

The Merrell Encores are the only shoes that I wear. I got my first pair over a year ago and found that I wear them unless I absolutely have to wear something different. I bought two additional pairs to make sure that I would have enough to last for years. I did this because I know how things "disappear" from the market. These are the mesh. I also bought the nubuck ones for winter.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and versatile. They go with many different outfits. Easy to put on and off. Cool for the spring/summer weather. A great alternative to flip flops.

These are one of the best shoes ever!! When it comes to support and comfort, these shoes have it! I am very picky when shopping for shoes! These shoes have the perfect support I need and I love how quick I can get them on or off. They are true to size, has a velcro-strap that makes it easy to adjust. Great for walking around town!

After I bought one pair, they were so comfortable that I bought a second pair in another color. Great last, excellent support yet light weight, good for walking and walking and walking. Adjustable strap over instep works well. Can wear them with or without socks.

They are as comfortable to wear as they look. I couldn't be happier. With or without socks they fit great and look great.

I love these shoes. I have 3 pairs of this style and 4 of the Breeze. I throw them in the washer and let air dry. I live in these in the warmer weather.

These are the most awesome shoes I've ever owned. Comfortable, cute and work year round!

I love them..have two pairs..so comfortable. I have other Encore style, Breeze--love those, too.. One problem..they squeak! My heel rubs the inside band on the low collar and squeak with every step! People look, and I laugh and say they aren't my cat burglar shoes!I tried lining the inside edge of collar with moleskin, fabric..but I rub it off. The encore Breeze doesn't do this. If I use foot powder, they stop squeaking for about an hour, but that's all I get.

The Merrell MJ shoe is very comfortable! I have gone on brisk 45 minute walks and did not need to change into walking shoes. Gotta luv Merrells! They fit great and really support your feet.
