I went to a local Sporting Goods store to look for hiking shoes. I tried several on and really liked these. I did try on a 9 and 9 1/2 (I usually wear a 9), and found that the 9 1/2 felt the best. I've been wearing them for lots of walking and hiking and really like them....and the color is dirt color, so they always look good. I'd recommend trying on the shoe at a store first to find the exact fit.

I have a new job where I stand on my feet all day and wanted something to wear besides running shoes of various vintages. The Siren Ventilators are supportive and super comfortable like other Merrells. I also love the styling. These puppies are total winners in my book!

After 60 years, I have finally realized that you need good shoes for bad feet. Merrell has come to my aid. I first bought Merrell boots and found what a great comfort they were in just everyday walking. Now I have tried the Merrell Siren Ventilator and still enjoy the comfort of a good walking shoe.

This is the first shoe from Merrell that I really don't LOVE. It runs small and tight and does not have enough cushioning inside; I was rather disappointed as it is an expensive shoe. Also, the shoe itself is stiff and not flexible.I am addicted to the Encore shoes by Merrell which offer much more support.

This pair replaces a pair just like it that I bought last year and have worn the sole off of. I've been delighted with the old pair and expect the same from these. I haven't worn these yet; they are backup for when the current pair must be retired.

The Merrell's Siren Ventilator for Women happens to be the most attractive and comfortable shoe for walking or hiking. This sole of this shoe is very durable and long lasting. It's breathable fabric dries very quickly when wet. The insole can be removed for washing. The Siren Ventilator is designed perfectly for the woman who doesn't like bulky shoes. I love this shoe. I just wish there more color choices.

I tried the siren ventilators at a local store and they were the most comfortable hiking shoes I had ever tried on. The store didn't have them in the color I wanted so I ordered them online - nothing else would do after I tried these! They are very lightweight and offer excellent support. Great traction for the trail too. I highly recommend them.

These shoes are like an extension of my feet. I slipped them on and at once felt that they had been made for me alone. I love them.

Nice shoe. I've been looking for a shoe with great arch support and a wide toe box and this shoe fits the bill. I have the black/periwinkle combination and it goes great with jeans and black workout gear. Comfort is good, but after a while the heel gets a little tight. I'm hoping they'll stretch a little over time.
