Good reference tool for elementary users., December 4, 1998

This review is from: Merriam-Webster Dictionary & Thesaurus: BookMan (Electronic Pocket Model, MWD-440) (Misc. Supplies)
The Bookman Mirriam-Webster Dictioonary & Thesaurus is an excellent tool for elementary users. Folks with advanced vocabulary skills will need to purchase the Collegiate Dictionary. The Books and Dictionarys are interchangeable in the little palm-size case and make a useful tool for quick reference while reading. However, this particular title is very limited. Also provides a nice pastime with word games such as anagrams, hangman and word train. Worth the money for elementary aged children, beats the frustration of looking up words in a traditional dictionary for those of us who are dyslexic and have difficulty with the order of the alphabet.Users just type the word on the keyboard and hit search. Nice when reading and trying to build your vocabulary.
