The product I received was advertised as a paperback volume, but was, in fact, a hardcover volume. The seller indicated that it was in good condition. It was in fair condition. The cover was damaged, but the book itself was fine. The biggest problem I have with my purchase is that I paid $45 for this book because my child needed a paperback collegiate dictionary for his school and this one was the only one I could find. I could have paid MUCH LESS for the exact same thing, and probably in better condition, if I'd have known what it was. I would have liked to have seen an actual picture of the product before purchasing. In fairness to the seller, I have not tried to return the book, so I don't know if they would take it back or not. I was just so disappointed in the misrepresentation of the book, and I've been too busy to try to deal with it. I just can't believe that someone would sell a hardcover book and advertise it as a paperback. Either they don't know the meaning of the word (which I find hard to believe), or they are intentionally misrepresenting the product. Either way, I will probably not buy from this seller again. I did see one other review from someone else on this seller that indicated the product they purchased was not correctly identified either.
