This set is pristine and well worth the money. I bought this set to replace a previous set that was damaged by water and have no regrets as this was definitely an upgrade. Looks fantastic on display and is of the highest quality leather that can be expected in this category. Highly recommended.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she is extremely pleased with it.

Very happy with this set. Quality is excellent for the price! CD is a big plus and works flawlessly on my computer. I have no hesitation in recommending this item.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my Father. It is a beautiful, well constructed dictionary and thesaurus set and was well received.

I ordered this set for my 15 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. It took over 3 weeks for it to arrive, but finally made it on Christmas Eve. I was dismayed to open the envelope (yes, I said envelope for a 2 volume book set with hard case)and find a destroyed set. The sleeve or case was demolished and the spine of one book was damaged. Somebody had attempted to piece things back together in transit with a rubber band and tape! I was so disappointed not to have it to give as a gift on Christmas. I contacted the seller via email and explained what had happened. They told me to keep the damaged set and they would send a new one right out. It arrived only 3 days later (in a box this time) in perfect condition. I am very pleased with the set and very pleased that the seller responded in such a timely manner, no questions asked.

I purchased a "bargain price" set and I am not at all displeased. Supposedly, this is a "second" from the printer, but the only damage I can see is a small crush point at one of the corners. For high level needs, MW Collegiate dictionaries and thesauruses are simply the best. MW Collegiate products are thorough, but not so large that they're just a showpiece. Sadly, I will be retiring the 1975 edition MW Collegiate dictionary I previously used for many years.

Also, I can also recommend the Kindle version MW Collegiate Dictionary because it's much more thorough than the American language dictionary that comes stock with the Kindle. You can set it as your default Kindle dictionary fairly easily.

This is a great product, but I wish I could have purchased the CD with audio.
