I feed raw to my dogs, but am unable to get green tripe. I thought this would be a good substitute, but am disappointed. It seems to contain a lot of water and the color tells me it is extremely processed. They both get tummy upsets after eating it, also. Back to my other brand.

I have a dog with a history of GI problems and tummy upset, he also doesnt weigh as much as he should since he was a stray dog initially and mal nourished. My vet recommended to try a dog food with tripe since it is nutritious and can help with weight gain. I was not optimistic since my dog is a very finicky eater, but, 4 weeks later here we are and he is eating this consistently and having a much better appetite! I'm very satisfied!

Carrageenan in this product causes colon problems in dogs and they also put this stuff in our food. It is now in ice cream, milk, and much more. It is used to thicken the product. A few cans were slightly dented but usable. Arrived on time. I quit buying this product/brand. Can't find tripe without carrageenan as of yet so going with Taste of the Wild. I also read up on carrageenan and its effect on humans...

My picky dog eats this really well. She picked around her regular canned food to eat this. So far no stomach issues.

My picky dog likes it. Amazon wasn't great at packing it unfortunately, and I ended up with damaged cans. BUT I do like Merrick foods in general. And Tripe is good for the picky-pants.
