I just saw Duran Duran there this past spring 2008 and remember seeing Pat Benatar there in 1981 or 1982.,+Columbia,+MD+21044&sll=39.211565,-76.862667&sspn=0.011123,0.014806&ie=UTF8&om=1&ll=39.21021,-76.862111&spn=0.014032,0.027637&t=h&z=15

So cool to see an album that pays tribute to a name that evokes such happy memories about summertime evening concerts.

The sound isn't nearly as good as Nissan but the venue itself is rather pleasant. Saw Styx, King Crimson, Devo, Talking Heads, Steve Martin, Sweet, Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath, Pixies, Santana and Phish there among many others. It used to be a lot easier to sneak in back in the 70's early 80's, unfortunately they got wise to the stratagems of teenage gatecrashers, but what the hell, I could walk there.

Agreed! Excellent concert venue, although I have to admit I haven't been there in years, since moving to the Midwest. Saw tons of shows there back in the 80s. Great way to spend a summer night.
Random trivia: I know that some if not all of Jackson Browne's "Running on Empty" album was recorded there.
