The core of this story is the relationship between Elise and Joe, that starts out as platonic friends, then business partners. The transformation from friends to lovers doesn't happen overnight, but the two fight it with all their strength. Joe's marriage broke up due to his not wanting children, and now his best friend is about to have four. Both of their lives are turned upside down! Quinn does a great job with these two characters. Recommended.
