This is a great collection by Capitol artists-it sure beats their flimsy Ultra-Lounge Christmas cds. The best version of Baby, It's Cold Outside is included here-a fun duet by Margaret Whiting & Johnny Mercer. I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm by the Starlighters is perfect holiday cheer, Julie London does a smoldering version of I'd Like You For Christmas, & you cannot beat the most beautiful yuletide tune of all, The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole. There are too many other great classics to mention, all done by major singers, & I'm so glad Amazon has this, it's hard to find in most record stores. If you only require one holiday album of traditional music, this is the one to get & play for many years to come.

I am in total agreement with the music fan from Brooklyn that reviewed this 2 years ago-this is far superior to Capitol's Ultra-Lounge Christmas cd's. I am so glad to find this here ..., I have had it on cassette for years now & soon the tape will fall apart. I cannot recommend this enough to all fans of Christmas music-there are so many beautiful tracks to choose from, every one is a gem! Also love the Mercer/Whiting rendition of Baby, It's Cold Outside-the best version I've ever heard(and I think I've heard just about all of 'em). This cd would be perfect to listen to while wrapping & unwrapping presents as well as having your Christmas meal with family & friends. I guarantee this will fast become a holiday favorite! Very highly recommended.

One of the best collections of holiday music - well-known classics and lesser known gems. I have many Xmas CDs and this is my all time favorite. Too bad it's not widely available.
