reS-K-Another entry in the popular series about an appealing puppy and his young owner. This time Biscuit almost destroys the Christmas decorations while the child takes photos of him for the gift album she is making for her grandparents. The story follows the same simple format as its predecessors with minimal vocabulary for beginning readers; sweet, full-color, cartoon illustrations; and the repeated "woof" responses of Biscuit. However, the last third of the book invites children to make their own albums by attaching personal photos to the blank pages. An ideal gift book, but not for schools and libraries.-M. W.
