I bought this chair to use on my front porch. I have similar chairs that I have bought from Home Depot (and really liked), but Home Depot doesn't have them in stores any more. I bought this one and it arrived in about five days. so far so good.

Then I started to put it together. The various wooden pieces are designed to fit together, but did not line up at all. After a great deal of coaxing and hammering, I was able to line them up. The metal screws to hold the pieces together are very soft and the allen wrench opening stripped out with very little torque. As such, I could not finish the assembly without drilling out a few and replacing them with my own hardware.

Once assembles, the chair leans forward at a funny angle and is just way larger than one might expect. The wood feels soft like pine and I have very low expectations that it will last long.

Of course, at some point, it's not worth it to re-box it and send it back. But hopefully I'll save you the trouble.

By the way, the Home Depot chair is available online and is much better quality for $125 or so.
