This mans talent will grow on you,

I first heard this album at a listening booth in the record shop, and was captivated by both the unique musical style and his incredible voice.The album is deliciously varied, with a track reminiscent of Godley & Creme! On many tracks the vocals alone carry the listener, but combine beautifully with chords and melodies to create a rich experience. This is one of those albums that grows on you.

This CD is a hidden treasure. Not alusive to sony record company as they have sigend Merz to an album deal supposedly reaching 1/4 of a million pounds. This album reflects the wide spectrum of his talents from scratching to classical strings. Most music magazines gave this cd a four rating but I love it so much I keep going back to it, it is suprisingly relaxing. This CD is good because it has such a wide range of influences. If you are open minded and truly a music fan this record should apeal to you on some level. BUY IT!
