Very interesting book- pretty short though,

This review is from: Mesmerism: The Discovery of Animal Magnetism (1779); A New Translation (Paperback)
This book or pamphlet describes the circumstances surrounding the discoveries of Mesmer. It is interesting reading, in that it gives a brief overview of the findings of someone that used a scientific approach to independently arrive at conclusions that coincide with Eatern philosophy. It is enough to wet my apetite for more information about Anton Mesmer.

This "book" is really a pamphlet that you can read in a few minutes. You are not going to learn to harness and apply the powers of animal magnetism by reading this pamphlet. Then again, you are not going to get that from reading any book. Nevertheless, this is an interesting (albeit brief) account of some of Mesmer's discoveries, written by Mesmer himself.

I just read this work, and I felt as if I were at XVII century as if I were seeing a movie...it was very interesting how Franz Mesmer fight to scientific mind in order to recognize basic principle in the nature, and how we are living unconscious about this since then and now.

Wrong book title,
This review is from: Mesmerism: The Discovery of Animal Magnetism (1779); A New Translation (Paperback)
This book doesn't tell much about animal magnetisam or methods author used to heal people. This is short story about the problems people created to him because they didn't beleive in his theory nor practice.
