Brings me back to the disco days and club days of the past. Hot and very danceable remixes.

I have never really been into Faith's music before, had a few songs that were kinda catchy to me. But the moment I heard the "Freemasons Remix" at a club, I WAS HOOKED!!! The Freemasons mix is extremely moving, there is no way you cannot want to get up and dance to this track. Faiths powerful, soulful vocals combined with Freemasons infectious energy come together to create a track that moves me like nothing has since "Lola's Theme" by Shape UK. Once this mix really gets out there it is going to burn up the clubs like no other track has this year, so far...

Faith Evans has had a rather boring (?) solo career up until now, probably been better known for once being married to the late rapper Notorious B.I.G. than anything else. But wait until you hear this record! I've never heard of the "Freemasons" as DJs before, but their disco-tinged house remix of Faith Evans' very soulful "Mesmerized" was by far one of the biggest club mixes of 2005. Guaranteed to fill a dance floor in seconds. I hope we get to hear more of this from Faith, and more of this from the Freemasons down the road!

I heard this song on the radio this morning and it really annoyed the he11 out of me. "Mesmerized" is a weak attempt to come across as some type of funkadelic neo-soul. If you listen to the song closely, you can hear familiar melodies and phrases taken from old and new R&B songs. I heard the O'Jays, James Brown, and Beyonce all obviously patched together by force to make this hot mess called "Mesmerized." This song is a joke and I'm very disappointed in Faith for putting out this watered-down karaoke soul. Even Joss Stone wouldn't have sang anything *this* awful.
