Product Description
A deciduous shrub with acacia-like leaves and thorns and producing 5" seed pods. Found in natural landscape in hot dry regions. Often used in preventing soil erosion. Also a great bonsai.

Trees Galore,

Mesquite trees are great as house plants or as soon to be trees. Hirt's Gardens supplies seeds in good condition that germinate when you follow the instructions. Starting a plant from a seed is a chore and not all seeds take yet these seem to have a pretty good turnover rate. Those of you that don't know - Mesquite Trees are very hardy and very difficult to get rid of - if you plant them outside don't be suprised if they take off like a week.
