The Truth,
By Spiritual_Indian (NYC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Message of a Master (Paperback)
If the process of manifestation suggested in this book were to be sincerely followed, you can manifest your own reality.
As someone who has read innumerable 'secret of success ' books , I hold very high regard for this book because I have had practical demonstrations of its truths. The one point that the master does not dwell upon is while visualizing the desired situation , one has to pour deep feelings of joy and gratitude to 'Infinite Intelligence' , 'Intelligent substance ' or God according to your predisposition. If the appropriate visual blends with your thoughts and feelings and if you can sustain the mental image along with the thoughts and feelings about the desired manifestation you will see that what was once in your consciousness is now in your surroundings ( 'As it is within , so it is without '). I want to quote Swami Vivekananda here -- " Imagination properly employed is our greatest friend ; it goes beyond reason and is the only light that takes us everywhere ". It is natural to be skeptical about these topics, but all a person needs is one specific ( be very specific ) manifestation. I also suggest you to read " The Way Out " by Anonymous , " Door of Everything " by Ruby Nelson , " It Works " by RHJ. Proper study of these books will help you gain deeper understanding and help you manifest your own reality. Truth is way stranger than fiction. Have patience and strong will to manifest. You can create your own miracles. Good luck.

Read this book and THINK, really think and what you need to do to change your life will be as plain as the nose on your face! It is just plain old common sense, but it forces us to do that which most people run away from,it forces us to THINK.

I have read many books that reveal the essential truths. This book, however has both a simplcity and a new insight that has not only provided me with new insights, it works when placed into action. It does not require years of learning, rather you can begin to experience a change imeediately.

If I could give it more stars, I would. I truly enjoyed this gem. I read it several times. In addition, for those of you who have read it, for fun, go first to page five and read paragraph one. Then, go to page 1 and read the italicized sentence at the top of the page. Mix in a portion of faith and therein lies the secrets of the ages.

A simplistic version of manifesting introduced by a silly story,

This review is from: The Message of a Master (Paperback)
This book consists of two parts.
Part One: The Search (32 pages). This is a nonsensical, filler story of a businessman who receives a call from a friend who had been "miserable, beaten and depressed," and who had gone on an ocean voyage to improve his health. But the friend was back and had a marvelous story to tell. The two men meet shortly thereafter in a club, and the friend tells the businessman about a mysterious and powerful stranger (the Master) who imparted to him the wisdom of the ages with which he was now changing his fortune. Then he says, "And that's as much of my story as I can reveal at this time. I hope you find it encouraging, and I hope you will discover more, eventually." In other words, the friend tells the businessman that he found the secret to happiness, and then leaves him to figure it out for himself. Thanks for nothing. (That takes us to page 20.) So now the businessman sets out to find the Master and, after thousands of miles of searching, find him he does, which leads us to Part Two. Part Two: The Message (48 pages). This section contains the real meat of the book, and the principles are well known to those familiar with manifesting. Roughly, manifesting is the ability to transmute energy into matter using thought. The law of manifesting allows you to create your own reality, such as finding the job you want, a dream home, riches, rewarding relationships or anything else your heart desires. This book is a tasty appetizer. It can act as an introduction to this marvelous process, but fails to intellectually convince. And if you can't convince your conscious mind of the truths of this process through reason, there's no way the subconscious mind will manifest anything. I'm a firm believer in the power of mind to create reality, and I've read many books on this topic. I therefore recommend Three Magic Words: The Key to Power, Peace and Plenty by U.S. Andersen and especially The Edinburgh and Dore Lectures on Mental Science: Complete and unabridged. by Thomas Troward. Also recommended are TNT: The Power Within You by Claude Bristol, The Power of Your Supermind by Vernon Howard, Thoughts Are Things by Prentice Mulford, and Your Invisible Power by Genevieve Behrend.

I've had positive changes in my life from applying "A Course in Miracles" and "The Nature of Personal Reality", but I wasn't seeing something. This book helped me to see. Remarkable in its simplicity, it distills many of the ideas in the two aforementioned books in just a few pages.

This is a short book with a wonderful story. I love this book, I have read it many times. It is very inspiring, sometimes you see it in the bookstores but it's hard to find. I loved it so much I bought if for a friend. The message is short and simple, the best books are the ones that get to the point quickly. Very good book.

This book gives you an approach very similar to the Soka Gakkai Buddhism, same idea, different wording. This is a very simple book, that will blow your mind. that book changed my life, in a very deep way. I'm telling you, just do it, believe in it, it works!
