5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, satirical and well written. March 15, 2013

Message from Pluto is funny and satirical and I smiled all the way through it. I found it to be well written and I look forward to reading more. It has nice character choices, funny dialogue, and doesn't take anything seriously.

Pluto sends an angry message to Earth about its displeasure at being removed from the League of Planets and the earthlings pretty much freak out about it. Then they calm down and get back normal. Which in this particular story, isn't all that normal. Are the Plutonians serious or is this all a hoax? Read it to find out.

Here is an excerpt of one of the conversations I thought was funny. I don't know why, but just go with it.

"Come on, how am I supposed to eat when your ugly haircut is attacking my keen sense of fashion, because this," Doug pointed at Donny's head with his knife. "This is not working."
"Don't be ridiculous, if there was a contest, my hair would destroy you."

You said that if people like it and it gets good ratings, there would be more. Five stars from me Adam. More? Yes please.

4.0 out of 5 stars an episode not a short story March 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The premise for the overall story is funny; indignant Plutonian's who feel they were snubbed when Earth took away their planet status. I was not disappointed with parts of this episodes. Donny and Doug were fun and could be developed into some hilarious scenes. The first couple pages were also clever. The biggest problem is I'm left with no sense of direction for the story. When I think of an episode I think of a mini story with intro-body-conclusion then some abrupt event that sets up the next episode. This is really just a chapter or part of a chapter with no definitive conclusion or lead in to the next episode and as such, I would have liked a bit more discussion about the characters who were introduced and where they are going especially the President. His conduct verged on being too inappropriate to be believed. I would probably pick up the next one but it would need better construction for me to go beyond two.
