This is a great band that's been around since 1996. They're from Atlanta, GA. I'm from CA so it's kind of crazy that I know about an underground rock band all the way from GA. But I first heard about them through their Farmclub performance and was blown away. They're first release (not major label) "Structure of Simplicity" is amazing. Full of hard rock and melodic songs. Now after a long struggle down the road, they've managed to sign with Universal Records. This EP is just a bit different from it predecessor but still very alike. Although it only offers five songs, it's still worth the listen in my opinion. For many this is just an unknown band. But I urge rock lovers to buy this cd and checkout what they're about because I guarantee these guys will become huge in the future.

This CD is worth every single penny you spend on it. Every track is amazing and will blow your mind. Seriously, these are 5 of the best songs I have ever heard. You can listen to them over and over. The vocals are clean and crisp and so easy to sing along to. A great driving CD for sure.

yeah, so I own this album and some of their old stuff, and this one is definitely rockin. Light Years is one of the coolest songs i've heard in a while. They're acuatally really cool people too, they've come over my apartment a couple times, I was eating hot dogs with the drummer Matt! haha, it was funny because I didn't know he was in the band at the time, but I said to myself, he looks like he should be in a band, hah. Anyways great music and CD's not alot of money either! CHECK THEM OUT

Okay, here's the deal. Hearing bands like Limp Bizkit, Chevelle, Three Doors Down, Sevendust, Staind, Nickelback, Good Charlotte, and many others dominate the airwaves and TV channels is gettin annoying. Not taking anything away from the integrity and raw talent of Jordan, Lee, Dusty, and Matt, it is time for a new sound to come to the mainstream rock scene. "A Message For You" displays [minus.driver]'s ability to rock hard, rock soft, be intense, and be melodic all in a 5 track LP. Each song having its own aura and mood, the entire CD is a great buy. Being a fan since 1999, I have heard every song they have recorded and released from their debut CD, "Elevator" to the first full length, "Structure Of Simplicity" and now "A Message For You". The CD begins with "Inhuman", a song destined for radio airplay and the first single off the EP. Following is "Sure Thing". This track showcases Dusty's ability to work pedals into his amazing raw talent on his guitar. Hearing the next track "Lie To You" the first couple times, I immediately labeled it as filler. After really hearing the lyrics, the song is everything but filler. "Lie To You" is almost a Deftones style hardcore rock song that will make you want to go crazy when you hear it. "Light Years" is a re-recorded release from SOS. The new version is even more melodic and meaningful than the original. Now the best way to make a CD is to start it strong and end it strong. The final track on the EP, also my personal favorite, is "Real Life". This track showcases the entire band's harmony and Jordan's amazing lyrical ability. Hearing this CD proves that [minus.driver] indeed has A Message For You and the message states that they will be around for a long time to come.

Being from Minnesota i dont think any of you will believe me on this, but [minus] is one of the greatest underground bands i have ever heard. Just like Structure of Simplicity this cd, even with just 5 songs, will leave you speachless. It is without a doubt worth every cent!! I have been following this band from the moment i heard their first cd, and i am sure after hearing their newest release you will feel the same way! So stop reading and start buying!

Hey , I guess they put these reviews up to presuade people to buy cds but in this case I would say its worth it, the band has grown in style from the structure of simplicity days and are coming out with material that is very likeable my favorite tracks are lie to you , inhuman and light years thats 3/5 tracks and those are just my favorites... those of you who are convinced go break your piggy banks ! all you other people well.... ahahah you just wasted 5 minutes of your life !

[minus.driver] is an amazing band from atlanta. Taking elements from all types of music, this EP will never fail to add diversity to your music collection. A must hear for any rock fan.

A very unusual and unigue sound. They are my new favorite band.

I love this band so much, but wish they would release some more material. All 5 songs are listenable for years.
