All I can say is wow! Very intense book that didn't have one dull moment in it. Really grabs you and takes you in with it..one of the best books I have read in a long time. One other book that was that good was "Captured" by Roger Smith. Highly reccomended!

I've read many bestsellers and none better than "Messages". This book was outstanding! It held my attention from start to finish, well written, and very different from average. This author should keep writing and never stop!! Some publisher will not be disappointed if they promote her writing! I plan to read her other books and tell others about this great find. It should be a New York Times bestseller.

Wow! This author has a vivid imagination, and her insight into the human heart (and mind!) pulled me right into this book. The story grabbed me and didn't let me go until the end, and it left me thinking about it for days afterward...it's rare a book has that effect on me! I am so glad to see she has written several books -- I've read them all, and I'm hooked! I hope she writes more!

"Messages" grabbed my attention on the first page and held it through to the end of the e-book; my daughter is anxious to read it after I described the story line to her. The main characters are well-defined, well-developed and one character's descent into insanity is shockingly revealed bit by bit. The author was able to make me experience a wide array of emotion; I look forward to more of her work.

My only complaint is the same I have seen from other readers: e-books need to be proofed for spelling errors, incorrect word use, omissions of words and grammatical errors.

But the book itself is fantastic. I gave it 4 stars!

What a fun story this was! I'm very interested in numbers and patterns, so it was interesting to get to know this twisted character and his little obsessions. I enjoyed the flow of the story and it was very interesting to see it all play out with lots of twists and turns until the end. I had no idea how this one was going to end.

"Messages" is the story of one man's descent into severe mental illness, told, in part, from his point of view. It shows not only his increasing dependence on the voices he feels are directing him, but how his increasing illness affected the people in his life and those he encountered. The book was both gripping and horrifying - filled with beautifully realized characters. I read it in one sitting.

What a well written story- can't wait to read her next one! Mental illness is complicated and scary. She did such a good job of showing us his craziness through James' eyes. Well done!
