Book Description

May 8, 2009

We are not alone. And Stan Romanek can prove it.

Romanek's gripping tale-augmented by video footage, photographs, and physical evidence-is the world's most documented extraterrestrial contact case.

In print for the first time, Romanek relives his personal experiences, from his first sighting of a UFO to terrifying alien abductions. Romanek tells how he captured an extraterrestrial on film—the famous "alien in the window" video footage featured on Larry King Live. Messages includes photos, witness statements, lab reports, and other evidence supporting the validity of Romanek's fascinating story.

But what's most shocking are the strange messages these unearthly visitors communicate to Romanek—authentic equations relating to space travel and planetary diagrams pinpointing what could be an auspicious date for the human race.

3.0 out of 5 stars Where are the photos??, November 8, 2009

This review is from: Messages: The World's Most Documented Extraterrestrial Contact Story (Paperback)
Only 1 or 2 people in these comments mention the rather obvious lack of photos mentioned in the text. Stan numerous times throughout the book mentions how he carries a camera with him everywhere, then why is the reader not treated to some of those images? I really want to believe his story, but it's getting fishier and fishier, what with the lie-detector test reported on by Coast to Coast radio, and now the very apparent lack of visual proof to a purchasing member of the public. I like his story, it makes sense to me, but nowhere online or his site is mentioned a reason for the lack of these photos. His cadre of "researchers" needs to give him a little more control and decision-making over this material, if indeed that is the problem. But why say "if you look at the photo.." and not include the photo?? Infuriating.

5.0 out of 5 stars I can't seem to put this book down!, July 3, 2009
By
Beautiful Faerie (The Land of Fey in USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Messages: The World's Most Documented Extraterrestrial Contact Story (Paperback)
I bought the book Wednesday,July 1st and I'm already on chapter 6.I looked through the book because I heard somewhere that there were photos and drawings that Stan had made, and I wanted to look at those first. The drawings of the aliens, and the photos of them were just....I said out loud "oh WOW!!"they don't look fake to me at all, even though some people have said so.I had seen a video on YouTube with the footage of the alien peeping through the window, and it looked [...]to find out,it was a recreation of the original footage(the video I saw didn't SAY it was a recreation,I saw a different video that clearly stated it was a recreation). Then I was able to find the original footage, and THAT was not fake...Stan has very good physical evidence to back up his story, and he was very meticulous about recording and documenting his experiences.I have never seen a UFO,but I believe that they are here.I think it's healthy to be a little skeptical about unexplained phenomena, but to be skeptical of ALL of it is just out of ignorance and fear. Some scientists are now saying that to think humans are the only life in the universe is egocentric and short-sided...I think the universe is as diverse as the life on this planet.

5.0 out of 5 stars very outstanding personal story, June 13, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Messages: The World's Most Documented Extraterrestrial Contact Story (Paperback)
I think the chances are high that the story is true. Mostly because there are numerous witnesses to back it up. The photo material is also quite good. It is a quality book with lots of content. Of course, there is never enough proof for sceptics, but that does not lessen the value of the book. The style and story a little bit resembles Jim Sparks story, with mysterious govt stalking included etc. The book takes a subtly positive stance toward alien activity and even though I am not all covinced about their intents, I still enjoyed reading the book from cover to cover.
