It's one A.M. as I write this comment, and I have just finished reading 'The Messenger'. Ms. Heflin, you owe me a few hours of sleep! I thoroughly enjoyed your new novel, and found myself reading faster and faster as I neared the end. I only do that when a book (and I read LOTS of them) has really got my attention. Needless to say, you had me where you wanted me. While my spiritual beliefs strongly differ with the premise of your story, it IS fiction, and I thoroughly enjoyed the book from that standpoint. Your characters come alive, their interactions are believeable and engaging, and the plot sucks the reader in and doesn't let him go. Bravo! Please, write on!!

The Messenger is a very good read. You will not be sorry. It should become A Movie. All the people I Know have enjoyed it and could not put it down and enjoyed the main characters. It is funny and serious and very entertaining. Read it and you will love the author.

The Messenger hold,s your interest and you love the main character. Everyone that has read it has enjoyed it very much. I feel it has a good story base with comedy and a serious aspect. It is a good read and I highly recommend it. It makes you think and is very enjoyable. Read it and you won,t be dissapointed!

THE MESSENGER is a romantic, entertaining novel that tells a good story with a surprising ending. An original subject with likeable characters and an very nice romance. I enjoyed it very much.

I loved this book it reminds me of "Somewhere in Time" by Richard Matheson. It shows us that anything, including travel to the beyond, is possible if we just don't give up on our true desires. This is a must read for anyone whose ever been in love and for anyon searching for life's meaning.

Robin has a great gift for subtly. Not only did she weave a timely tale about the challenges of connecting with one's soul mate, she beautifully demonstrated how easy it can be to make those little ethical compromises that so often lead to huge complications. Loved the visits to the "other side."
