There are not enough superlatives I can use to convey how much I love this CD " The Messenger" By Vincent Gantt.
I 've enjoyed every single track on this CD, how often can one make that statement, however if I had to chose my favorite, it would have to be " How Great Thou Art", Vincent's version of this classic brings tears to my eyes each time I hear it. We have a tendency to throw the word " Genius" around but in my opinion true Genius is taking a classic song for example " How Great Thou Art" and reinterpret it to make it uniquely yours and Vincent Gantt did exactly that. This CD has something for everyone Jazz, Funk, R&B etc, and if you love music, good music, this CD is for you. I'm waiting with baited breathe for the next CD from this talented artist Mr. Vincent Gantt. Bravo. |
