What an excellent book! This book opened my eyes and my mind to the ministry of Christ, from his birth, through his life, and through his death and ressurection. Using scripture, it filled in all of the things we don't read when reading the bible, for example: what happened when Jesus, Joseph, and Mary fled King Herod to Egypt, what was going through the minds of the demons as Jesus was about to rid them of the man they inhabited, how Satan tempted Jesus after the 40 days in the wilderness, and what Christ's death and ressurection really meant in terms of Satan's kingship in this world and our freedom as believer's. This book and the one before it called "The Fall of Lucifer" have been the most profound books of my Christian life (besides the bible), bringing my walk to a greater reality than I've known before. This is a must read for any non-believer who wants to see who Christ really is, and what he has meant to the world. It's also a must read for any believer who wants to strengthen and gain a greater awareness of who God is, who satan really is, and how great the sacrifice of Christ was and is for us. I bought the book for Christmas, read it in three days, and am ready to read it again just because there is so much I missed from the first reading, and because it has so strengthened my faith in all I hold sacred.

Messiah reads beautifully and is filled with the same masculine intensity as the first book, The Fall of Lucifer. I was brought to tears time and again by the love of Jesus for the Race of Men. One of the most touching aspects of this novel is witnessing on a personal level Jesus' love and compassion for man as He embraces with joy and sometimes humor each character's idiosyncrasies. The battles between the legions of angels, their devotion, and their readiness to fight to the end is awesome. This series is an adventure to read with mind blowing descriptions of heaven along with the Greatest Story unfolding over time as we know it.

This is a great book that admirably continues the tale of three angelic brothers and the fall of one. If you have not read the first book you should do so it is just as good. This sequel is better than the first. I cannot wait to see if there will be another book in the series.
