Familiar Biblical events are given additional setting and explanation which serve to enhance the reading of the original Bible passage. It has helped me to understand more clearly not only that things happened but WHY they happened. The author presents his points in a neutral yet straightforward manner. It is easy reading about profound details of events and dialogue we all know and love
