4.0 out of 5 stars Very good tool for beginning NLPers!, August 19, 2007

This review is from: Meta-Cation Volumes I, II, & III: Education about Education with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (v. I, v. II, v. III) (Paperback)
Teachers are typically not the kinds of people who attend NLP seminars (I'm sure this has something to do with the high cost of attending a seminar coupled with the relatively small size of an educator's paycheck). For those teachers interested in learning a bit of NLP, this book is a very good introduction, and provides a lot of useful techniques and inspirational stories.

The stories are written in a very personable manner, and the author does an excellent job of allowing his personality to shine through without allowing it to get in the way of the material he is presenting. I found his exercises to be very helpful for discussing the strategy in regards to the most likely methods in which the teacher would be using them. In those regards, it is a fantastic book.

I did, however, find there to be a gap in the teachings that he is presenting. The book goes from the very basic techniques in Volume One to a much more advanced book in volume 2. As someone learned in the strategies of NLP, I was able to follow along, but I am unsure that the NLP novice would be able to do so successfully, and so I deducted a star for that reason.
