All Metabo cordless tools are available with a standard fast charger or without a charger. A computer controlled fast charger (10-60 minutes depending on the battery) which allows gentle, safe charging with automatic selection from 4.8V to 18V is also available. Continuously variable electronic speed control is standard on all of these tools, as is instant-stop, 2 - speed planetary gearbox and fully adjustable torque control. Chucks are keyless and built to uncompromising standards. Each cordless drill has on-tool storage for screwdriver bits. These tools produce up to 885 inch lbs. of torque: some of the highest available. Precision hardened steel gearing with ball and needle bearings allow smooth and efficient power transport with exceptionally long work life. And each high capacity motor is designed to run so cool under load that no reset switches are necessary. Our cordless power tools are available with a revolutionary new line of chargers and batteries that are "Air Cooled". These chargers have a fan that blows air through the battery to keep it cool during charging and in turn extends the battery's life.
