This review is from: All Metal Ball bearing Keyboard Slide - 14" , 3/4 Extension - Black (Misc.)
These are top quality slide rails. Bought them to replace broken rails on our aging Copenhagen Office Desk. New rails were far superior to the original rails. Simple installation - rails are stamped either L (Left) or R (Right) to make things really simple, and mounting holes are all slotted. The screws they provided were small pan head phillips - I didn't think they would hold up in the manufactured wood so I replaced them with something better. The bearing slides are very smooth and when pushed under the desk the keyboard tray will latch into place resulting in a little extra force being necessary to extend the tray. On the down side, the slide extension is a bit less than I would have expected, but nothing to be concerned about.

This keyboard slide was easy to set up. All you need is to supply the wooden tray. I picked up a cheap ($9.00), long, white shelf from Lowes to match my white table. The slide comes with all the necessary wood screws. The nice thing about doing it this way is that you get to choose what color and how long you want the shelf. Many of the other ready-made keyboard trays I've seen have been too short for me i.e. there is only space for a keyboard but none for a mouse. Sometimes those other trays will have a pull-out section just for the mouse but I doubt those would be sturdy. By getting a longer shelf/piece of wood, you can also have space for a mouse and room to spare. Installation was fairly easy. I attached the rails to my chosen shelf, then attached the whole thing to the underside of my table. I had lots of stuff on my table already so I didn't bother turning it upside down. Instead, I used a box and one or two books to hold the shelf up to the table so I wouldn't have to hold it while trying to screw it in. The whole thing feels sturdy even with the weight of my hands resting on the keyboard tray. It also slides easily and quietly. Am very happy with the purchase and would buy this product again if/when I have a need for another keyboard tray.

Cheapest slides I could find and they work great. Very smooth. No Complaints. I've since purchased two more computer keyboard sliders.
