Metal Clay for Beaders offers good examples/projects/inspiration for Beaders who are venturing into the wonderful world of Metal Clay. There is a nice range of styles and skill levels in the projects to appeal to all beaders, as well as to Metal Clay Artists wishing to add beading to their creations. Well written with good, clear pictures. Overall, a very good cross-over book for both Beaders and Metal Clayers.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The pictures and ideas for projects were new and very inspiring...not easy when there are so many books out on the subjects. A good review on the different types of metal clay and how each can be used. This book is a valuable addition a metal clay and beaders library and well worth the price.

I especially liked the comparisions for the 2 major clays out there. Having had a preference for one over the other, I now see that both have a usefulness in future projects I am planning.

First of all, I love jewelry beading and metal clay. This book is a must for people beggining in this art and others who would like to know about this form of Art. It is a step by step book that shows the process of metal art from the basic tools to the finished product incorporating elements of jewelry beading. How clever! It's full of photographs, detailed instructions and it has a wonderful big letter format.

I am new to using this media, so the Tools, Tips, and Techniques section I find quit useful. The Beginner Projects section is written clearly and concisely. I really appreciate the step by step instructions. And wow! the gallery of art projects by seasoned artists is inspirational.

In addition to providing a very good introduction to metal clay, Irina gives a fresh perspective to the medium in the projects section. Projects offer inspiration for jewelry designers along with practical applications. This is a very nice resource and a welcome addition to my library!

This book is great for beginners and intermediate metal clay artists. It covers all the basics, then has projects divided into a beginners section and an intermediate section. The instuctions are clear and accompanied by many pictures. You will find instructions on incorporating gems into your metal clay, working with cork clay as a base, working with syringe clay, how to add gold paste, mold making and many other techniques.

I thought of all the metal clay books I have seen of late this was one of the best for all levels of familiarity with clay...

I decided to purchase this book to see if metal clay was something I would want to get into. I knew nothing of this topic whatsoever when I purchased the book. I was pleasantly surprised at how inspiring the pictures were and how the step by step instruction made the process seem so easy. Nature inspires me and it is obvious that it inspires the author as well. After reading this book I am super excited to start my new hobby.

This book is awesome for the new artist. I would not get this book if you are already an experienced artist in metal clay. This book would probably not teach you anything you don't already know.

This is an excellent cross over book and I find myself constantly picking it up and coming up with ideas.
