I like these a lot and will NEVER go back to plastic collar stays after trying the metal ones. The plastic ones would always get lost or melt and bend so that my shirt collar looked funny.

Well, these metal ones make my shirts look better and I have bought several packs so I can replace all the plastic ones I used to have.

The advantage of these from Cuff Daddy is that they are all the same size -2.5". I had no interest in the typical packs from other vendors which offered 4 sizes (2.25". 2.5". 2.75", 3"), because I really only need one size.

Now, also note that Cuff Daddy sells two different versions of these. I think the 6 pack is sold with dimensions 2.5" X 0.38" while the ten packs are sold with dimensions of 2.5" X 0.50". In my personal opinion the 0.5" ones are MUCH better and less likely to fall out of your shirt.

My only suggestion is that I'd love the option to purchase 2.75" by 0.5" stays because that was the size of most of the plastic stays in my shirts. 2.5" works, but 2.75" would work better.

Overall a good product, and the vendor ships really quickly (and provides a small suedelike cloth pouch to hold the extra stays).

I am judging it with a higher standard since it is a fashion accessory and should look good as well as work well.

I was deciding whether to buy the Cuff Daddy stays, which had a polished finish, or the Stayclips ones, with a brushed finish.

I decided on this Cuff Daddy set as the Stayclips set had 4 different sizes and some reviewers complained about the practicality of having only 1 pair of the most common mid sized stay.

Well, I should have gone for the brushed look. The polish on these Cuff Daddy stays is not done well. There are more visible scratches and marks, as compared to a SS plier. Well, I have uploaded a photo. You can take a look and decide if it's good enough for you. (The funny thing is, even their name card has white printing blemishes).

For myself, I can live with it. But I bought some extras to give as gifts and now I'm a little hesitant...

Can they be removed? Probably, if you have sandpaper, probably, more than a 1000 grit. And the cuff daddy logo will be sanded off.

And the glass tube is really not quite fit for purpose eh. You can't take out or put in all the stays at the same time because the neck is too small.

I received my new Rhodium Silver Collar Stays very promptly after placing my order. They are exactly as advertised. The product arrived in a velvet pouch (a little goozhey for me, but a nice touch I guess) with the individual pairs in tiny zip-lock bags (very practical). The collar stays are an excellent size, not too long or too short for any of my dress shirts. they improve the appearance of my shirts because the stays do not bend like plastic ones do. I recommend this product to everyone who needs to wear dress shirts.
