For MGS3 fans, this is a must-have, not just because this is the only figure featuring Snake in his normal Tiger Camo, but because of the level of detail it possesses. If you're wondering, the figure is not poseable and is a little unsteady standing on its own. Yet, I completely love it for how well it's sculpted and the design of the costume. Snake's outfit is fully based on actually military gear from the cold war era, right down to his lash unit throat mics and authentic pilot's dagger. If you loved Snake Eater, this is a very, very cool piece. Enjoy!!

A fantastic show piece for any fan of the series or collector. No articulation but the standard pose is excellent.

This action figure of Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3 is actually pretty cool. The detail is very well done, and the paint applied is done so correctly. However, unless you're planning to display just know that it is a little tipsy, but is durable enough to survive a 4 foot drop (at least mine did). Overall, this is a cool display figurine if you're into MGS, after that though there's not much else you can do with it.

I have been collecting MGS action figures and have been very satified and have my action figures displayed and very durable.

Need to say: it's not a toy, what makes of it a nice purchase. If you're looking for a cheap figure and a highly detailed collectable, you got it. It's identical to game's character. The color of real figure differs a bit from the picture, but nothing to worry about. A must have, if you're a series' fan.

When I first got the figurine I was happy. It looked decent for the price, although it could not change poses, it was nice. I noticed it felt a bit wobbly when standing on it's feet, and the weight makes it want to fall forward. I dismissed it though thinking it wasn't a big problem.
Fast forward a few weeks, and I hit my knee on my desk and it falls off the shelf connected to it. It then hits the desk and then the carpet. When I pick it up, I noticed that two of the fingers on his right hand broke off (index and thumb). To be fair, it was quite a distance to fall (3 feet to the desk and 3 feet to the thick carpet). I found out why it broke off the fingers: the handgun he was holding must have hit the desk first and bent the fingers off. Luckily, the damage is not really noticeable when he's holding the handgun, but it still upsets me.
In the end, the figure looks okay, but is very unbalanced, and because it wants to lean forward, you can't lean the figurine against anything. Well, I suppose you could but it would block the view of the figurine. If you want to buy this, make sure that you have a VERY stable place to put it, DON'T put it on a desk.

Purchase as a gift over a year ago. My bf loves mgs. Of course its still in the original case. But, we have it on our wall. Looks great!!!

Not a bad figure overall. I'm very impressed with the level of detail and likeness to the VG Snake. But it's obvious this level of detail comes at a price. Not much of an "action" figure; none of his body parts move at all. When I first got him, I thought his arm was on a swivel and accidentally broke it off. No issue though, glue-gunned it right back on, good as new. I wish I could pose it but it does make a great display figure. Great piece for the collection.
