There is no reason to buy this bucket of beads. The current cost is 18.95 for 72 beads. You can buy 144 beads for 18.90 from the same seller. I'm not sure why these are both available, but I accidentally purchased the smaller one because the seller is not clear on the amount of beads included. The picture has 72 pieces listed and that is the only way to know.

There are 72 necklaces in this bucket. It is great value for the money. The beads are separated into 6 groups of 12. This keeps them from tangling. There are 48 round bead necklaces - 16 of each color - and 24 "fancy" (oblong) bead necklaces - 8 of each color. The colors are gold, green and purple. These are great for Mardi Gras, but they'd also be good party favors, etc. I used them to represent the 3 colors of the Catholic Church's liturgical seasons: Lent/Advent, Christmas/Easter, and ordinary time. This was very effective for my 1st grade class!
