Why does one reviewer say this book is complete and great and another say it is crap?Because they are reviewing two different books and I am sure my review will appear in two different spaces also.Amazon links reviews for similar titles so be sure to look at the picture of the book you are ordering.In the lower right corner if you see "Note for Note transcipitions" ,that is the book you want.It includes all of and very accurute lead and rhy. figures.The book also includes the songs "Am I Evil?" and "Blitzkrieg" which are no longer included on the Kill'em All cd because of copywrite rules.The only drawback is that in order to get all the songs on 78 pages the transcriptions are a little on the small side,but it is a great book overall.

The accuracy in this book is up to the standards of other books from the Cliff Burton era, and suffers from the same problems (most of which are minor). The main issue for this one is that most people who have been playing guitar for a little while can probably pick up how to play the riffs to these songs by ear (most of them are not that difficult). The only reason to get this would be if you're trying to learn the solos, even if Kirk still sounds a bit green for most of these. His playing really changed and improved between Kill'em All and RTL.

Not sure what other reviewers are talking about when they say the full song is not included. If you are thinking of getting the Kill em all transcription by cherry lane music, then you ARE getting the full song. I have the book directly in front of me and know the complete songs, and they are all there. They are tabbed, and you have to have some idea how to read the tabs or you may think the full song is not included...example a few measures are drawn out, and then in print at end it will say play 4 times. Well they didn't draw out all four times, hoping you could figure that out, but everypart of the song is present, and this includes Kirks lead ins and Solos. If you get this book you will have the music you need to learn these songs.

There are alot of wanne-be rock groups out there! Good to learn licks from the best....Thanks Metallica!
