This review is for the Drum edition. Cherry Lane allways does a good job of transcribing current artists. This book is no exception. The transcriber did a great job, every note Lars plays is represented and present. Even the vocal lines are transcribed. The layout follows the album track listing, which doesn't always happen in the guitar editions. I recommend this book to any Metalica fan trying to better understand tempo and rhythm.

i think this book is a very good source for the understanding of the biggest metallica hits from battery to amazing master of puppets...but the content is not very good..because this book is for the less experienced but who wants to play metallica stuff.. but i think the content could be more interesting.. anyway..if you want to start playin metallica songs quickly and easily..this book will be helpful to you...but if you are an experienced guitar player, then you should look for the "play like it is" books...
