I first saw this book in Kush's gallery in Lahaina, Maui, two years ago, and I've been kicking myself ever since for not buying it at the time. I wasn't even able to order it long-distance from the galleries carrying Kush's work -- the book ALWAYS seemed to be sold out. But now, here it is! Yay, Amazon!

For those not familiar with Kush's work, it is absolutely stunning -- beautiful, surprising, terrifying, and humorous all at the same time. It's often compared to the works of Salvador Dali, though Kush's work contains a softness and ethereal beauty that Dali's work often lacks. This lush, lovely book contains some of Kush's finest work. Highly recommended for anyone seeking something new from a modern master.

Vivid images capture the imagination. The paintings shown in "Metaphorical Journey" present objects in ways that are fresh and utterly stunning. High quality printing, vibrant color, and sturdy binding make this a very beautiful book.
I first found this book in a gallery while on vacation in Las Vegas, NV. I became instantly enamored with Kush's work, but as a person of limited means, I could not purchase the paintings themselves. This book, however, is perfect for casual perusal from my coffee table.

What a beautiful book. I am an artist and love to collect books. I recently purchased this book at the artist's Las Vegas gallery. I am so glad I did. The paintings are beautifully reprinted and very true to color. I paid $100 for the book. No regrets!!!

Vladimir Kush is so incredibly talented! This book showcases his wild imagination and skills allowing us to take that journey with him.

All I can say is the art most illustriously envisioned by Vladimir Kush is pure fantastical enjoyment for one's eyes. You could come home from a busy day and just sit and be calmed by the warm, magical, imaginery, illustrious notions of each and every piece. You will find warm flows of the most majestic colours bounce off of each piece. A pure relaxation and most enjoyable feast for your eyes which is a form of entertainment matched by none.

We first saw Kush's art work at his gallery in Lahaina, Maui. The images he has created are absolutely incredible. We could not afford to buy any of his prints or sculptures, but the book presents almost all of his work. It's the next best thing to owning his pieces.

Kush is amazing. He takes a thought and bends it into mind blowing beauty and surrealistic eye candy. After visiting his gallery and seeing the originals up close I was blow away. His perspective is unique and has a depth even history's most beloved artists would envy.
