John P. Doyle has provided an admirable translation of Disputations 28 and 29 of Francisco Suarez's Methaphysical Disputations (and an excellent introduction). Disputation 29 is very important because of its detailed and subtle proof for the existence of God, a proof that is far more sophisticated than any of the 5 ways of St. Thomas Aquinas. For those who like scholastic metaphysics, this book is highly recommended.
