5.0 out of 5 stars Method Action
This is a tough but unexpectedly gentle spray cleanser that cuts my bathroom cleaning time nearly in half (100% if I don;t do it at all, but that's a different story). Method cleanser is a very welcome relief from malodorous powders that produce tiny, sneeze-inducing clouds when poured, and that require some water to work--but are also washed away by this same water when...

3.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE Method products, but...
Okay, so this is an "okay" tub & tile cleaner. I have a cleaning business, and I use all natural, not tested on animals, environmentally safe products as much as possible. I LOVE all the other Method products I use (Glass cleaner especially), but this just is not tough enough, even when used with a heavy-duty scrub brush.

This is a tough but unexpectedly gentle spray cleanser that cuts my bathroom cleaning time nearly in half (100% if I don;t do it at all, but that's a different story). Method cleanser is a very welcome relief from malodorous powders that produce tiny, sneeze-inducing clouds when poured, and that require some water to work--but are also washed away by this same water when you attempt to dampen them.

Not only is it biodegrable and non-toxic, it works! You don't have to wait long, and the smell is not unpleasant. As with other products from this company, I definitely recommended it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smells great & cleans good, too, July 7, 2006
This review is from: Method Tub & Tile Spray Cleaner, Eucalyptus Mint, 28-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 8) (Health and Beauty)
I really like this product. It isn't harsh like other bathroom cleaners. I didn't have to open all of my windows to clean the bathroom! The scent reminded me of baby wipes... Cleans very well. Great for wintertime (or bathrooms without proper ventilation.) Works good on bathroom floors, sinks, and outer rim of the toilet, also... :) Your bathroom will smell and feel clean, without the harsh odors of bleach. Love it!

It just cannot compare with something chemical when cleaning a tough shower or tub. It's fine for maintenance on a generally clean shower or tub, but not one that has been neglected, especially on the soap scum. The smell is great, though, and I still use it as often as possible as a good alternative to burning my nose with the other stuff.

I use this on a travertine tile bathroom. Cleans great and doesn't damage the stone, smells good too!

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT STUFF!!, September 2, 2009
This review is from: Method Tub & Tile Spray Cleaner, Eucalyptus Mint, 28-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 8) (Health and Beauty)
I love this stuff!!
First I would like to say I read the other reviews some of them I agree with and some I dont. I discovered this stuff when we spent the weekend at a friends house. I walked into her bathroom and it smelled like mint mouth wash. It smelled really good and I asked her what she used and she showed me this. So I got home and I went to Lows and bought me some!
I currently use Comet to clean my shower. I have a tub surround shower, no tile!
My husband has a career that keeps him supper dirty and at least two times a week the dirt is accompanied with oil and grease. SO I need something that can really clean. I must also add that I use a Scotch Brite bathroom wand, that has a scotch brite scrubbing pad on the end. I find that no matter what you use to clean scum you have to at least give it a good scrub and rinse the scum away.
I decided to try this stuff out and I waited 5 days so that my shower was really in need of cleaning. I sprayed it on and scrubbed away. While scrubbing I was pleasantly surprised to see the scum and grime smearing away!! After a good rinse my shower was SPARKLING CLEAN!!!
As far as smell goes! I love it! It is a bit strong, but personally I would rather smell mint than the other stuff!
On a scale of 1-10 smell 10 being really strong, I give it about a 7. I found though that once you rinse the shower it isnt as strong, but still leaves a nice mint smell after...
Bottom line I LOVE IT!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Minty Fresh, August 26, 2008

All around, this is a great tub and shower cleaner. I've been using it to clean my tub for the past two years and I've been very pleased with the results. You'll notice quickly that this cleaner is a liquid. There's no foaming action, there are no scrubbing bubbles. But despite that it cleans, and it cleans well. This is not a harsh cleaner- it's not going to eat the finish off your tub (thankfully). But it works- it removes stains and soap scum, and leaves a shiny, clean finish behind. And perhaps the best thing about it is the scent. Most bathroom cleaners have a strong bleach or ammonia odor, but not this one- it smells pleasantly of mint. One caveat- as this is not a bleach-based product, I don't think it would do much to whiten the grout between tiles, but for regular cleaning, it's a pleasure to use, and leaves a beautiful scent behind. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!, September 8, 2007
This review is from: Method Tub & Tile Spray Cleaner, Eucalyptus Mint, 28-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 8) (Health and Beauty)
The first tub and tile cleaner that is safe enough to use without gloves and does not burn your eyes and nose when you use it. Excellent for hard water and lime scale. I would HIGHLY recommend!!!

I love it. Smells nice and cleans great. I still have to use CLR sometimes for really bad hardwater stains. But for maintenance, it's great.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good product however..., June 19, 2011
This review is from: Method Tub & Tile Spray Cleaner, Eucalyptus Mint, 28-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 8) (Health and Beauty)
I bought this product from Target. It does everything I would expect in a bathroom cleaner and the fact that it is a green product made it very appealing. I will say the fumes spray kicked off were so strong I had to wear a face mask while cleaning and that did not stop the fumes from getting into my throat and nose which resulted in a sneezing/coughing/gagging fit. That being said I have suffered form allergies all my life and I am highly sensitive to certain aromas. I believe that this is a product that doesn't agree with me, though it does clean great. I didn't want to throw it away so I use the remainder of it to clean the toilet bowl (worked great). If you have medical issues like me I say use at your own risk.

Cannot believe how well it cleans - eco-friendly AND better than Lysol, Windex, etc. Pleasant smell. Soap scum, lime stains - cleans with minimal scrubbing. No toxic odors or sting. UPDATE: In combination with Method Daily Shower Spray, I do not need to clean the tubs that often - up to a month without anything more than a quick spray and wipe. I really hope that the Method line of products is as green as they claim. If Amazon is out, Target sells Method (as well as local Stop & Shop).
